Huang Fang, the head of OIA, reported the overall situation of the internationalization of UPC, including international partners, foreign experts,international exchanges, and work of foreign students. He analyzed the constraints of external factors, such as the epidemic situation, the international situation, and national policies, and put forward the idea of building an ecological system of international work in the face of the new era.
Yu Jixian, the deputy director, reported the overall situation of the work in charge, as well as the opportunities and challenges faced, and introduced a series of measures to focus on key indicators, adhere to internal and external efforts, and implement the ecosystem idea of internationalization.
Zhang Zhiying, the vice president of College of International Education, reported the policy changes, the size and structure of foreign students, the current situation and existing problems of specialty construction, and proposed measures to expand the enrollment scale, improve the training quality, promote the integration of Chinese and foreign students, and promote the convergence management, so as to improve the quality and efficiency.
Vice president Dai Caili fully confirmed the achievements of OIA in overcoming the huge impact of the epidemic, and pointed out that the foreign affairs should be properly positioned - positioning the role and function of foreign affairs in the overall development of the school, positioning the weight of the "Fourteenth Five Year Plan" work indicators and the "focus on hard core indicators", positioning the target objects of Sino foreign cooperation in running schools and international joint laboratories , it is proposed that under the superposition of multiple factors such as epidemic situation, international situation and national policy changes, foreign affairs cadres should seize the opportunity, study both inside and outside, and promote the high-quality development of the school's internationalization work with heart, effort and emotion.
