On November 23, 2023, ICE invited police officer Wang Yong, and Mr. Meng, the captain of the Security Department, to conduct a special lecture on campus security and anti-fraud for international students to help students enhance their security awareness.
At the lecture, Officer Wang Yong introduced a variety of common telecom fraud tricks such as game winning fraud, impersonating customer service refund fraud, campus loan trap, brush single, network dating fraud, so that teachers and students can fully understand the common means of new campus telecom network fraud, words and prevention skills, and remind teachers and students to improve anti-fraud security awareness. He emphasized practical ways to protect personal information, such as sharing information cautiously, not trusting strangers' requests, and calling the police for help in time when encountering fraud cases. 
Captain Meng of the school Security Department gave lectures on campus fire safety and road traffic safety of electric bicycles and the school's regulations on the management of electric bicycles. Combined with real campus cases, he explained the fire safety precautions of dormitory, laboratory, kitchen and other fire-prone places, demonstrated the use of fire extinguishers, introduced the escape method in case of fire, and played the warning film of campus fire cases. In terms of road traffic safety, Captain Meng used pictures to explain traffic safety rules, ways to deal with road traffic safety accidents, and the latest management regulations of electric bicycles in schools.
The lecture raised international students' awareness of safety precautions. Through this lecture, the students have a better understanding of the importance of self-protection and set up a correct concept of safety.
We will continue to promote similar safety education activities, including regular campus safety lectures and anti-fraud training in cooperation with relevant institutions, to ensure that students have a safer learning and living environment on campus.
