On September 16, 2022, UPC appointed Ms. Fomenko Ekaterina(Russia) as the foreign affairs commissioner, and Huang Fang, the director of Office of International Affairs, issued an appointment letter.
Director Huang highly appreciated Fomenko Ekaterina's work and achievements for the cultural exchange and cooperation between China and Russia, and expressed his earnest hope for her future participation in the school's foreign liaison and reception work with Russian-speaking countries. Fomenko Ekaterina sincerely thanked the school for its support and trust, and expressed her determination to live up to her high expectations, be a good ambassador for China Russia friendship, and actively contribute to the school's foreign affairs.
UPC attaches great importance to the exchange and cooperation with Russian universities. We have set up formal collaboration with 18 Russian universities, including Tomsk State University, Kazan Federal University, South Ural State University, etc. The appointment of foreign affairs commissioner will strongly promote the development of scientific research cooperation, teacher-student exchanges, personnel training and other work between the school and Russia and other Russian speaking countries.
