On August 25, UPC signed an online contract with Yeungnam University in South Korea. The two sides signed a framework agreement on friendly cooperation, a cooperation agreement on postgraduate degree program and a student exchange agreement, formally establishing a partnership. Yao Jun thanked the two municipal governments for their high attention and support, spoke highly of Yeungnam University, expressed his vision of practical cooperation between the two universities in talent training, scientific research exchanges and other fields, and contributed to the promotion of exchanges and integration of higher education between the two cities.

Yao Jun and Park Seungwoo signed the cooperation agreement online on behalf of the two universities. Among them, the Framework Agreement on Friendly Cooperation covers exchanges between faculty and students, joint scientific research activities, joint international conferences, academic seminars and exchange of academic materials; The cooperation agreement for postgraduate degree projects includes "1+1+1" master's joint training project, undergraduate+master's joint project, undergraduate+master doctoral joint study project and doctoral degree overseas study project; The student exchange agreement supports the two universities to accept up to 5 students for exchange study each year under the principle of equal exchange.
